This work of art was done for a dear friend. She actually commissioned it from me so that she could present it to a friend of hers who had lost a close family member. The butterflies had significance to the family, and so my friend had managed to take a quick snapshot one day when she encountered these creatures in another state. It was that small photograph that she presented to me, and it was from that picture that I created this. It ended up being printed on canvas and presented to the family.
