Adobe Photoshop: a must have for any creative designer. For use in creating posters, postcards, flyers…you name it, and you will most likely need this software. It takes some getting used to, but the learning curve is fairly quick. A simplified, easier version is Photoshop Elements, which graphic designers-in-training have sworn by. The choice is up to you, although I personally prefer the meat and potatoes of the full version of Photoshop. Hence, some screenshots:[kkratings]
Adobe Indesign: At this point in time, this is a design standard and a must for any graphic designer that plans on doing layout for books, magazines, postcards, and the like. If you are familiar with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop, then you will pick this one up pretty easily. More screenshots:[kkratings]
